How do I become a patient?
❓ Do you accept insurance?
Slight Edge Physical Therapy LLC is an out-of-network provider for all insurance plans. This means we don’t bill insurance directly — and that’s a good thing for you.
If you’d like to seek reimbursement, we’ll provide a detailed receipt (superbill) you can submit to your insurance. Every plan is different, so reimbursement is not guaranteed — but many patients with out-of-network benefits do receive partial reimbursement.
✅ We gladly accept HSA/FSA cards for payment.
Why out-of-network?
Because it allows us to provide higher quality, more personalized care — without the red tape or visit limits imposed by insurance companies.
❓ Why is out-of-network physical therapy actually a better option?
In-network care often means:
- 30–45 minute sessions
- Seeing multiple different clinicians (not all are Doctors of Physical Therapy)
- Generic treatment plans
- Needing to attend 2–3 times per week
- Missed work and slower results
At Slight Edge Physical Therapy, you get:
- 1-on-1 sessions with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy every time
- 45–60 minutes of focused, individualized treatment
- A customized plan built for your goals and sport
- Typically just 1 visit per week, saving time and money
- Evening and weekend availability for your convenience (Tues/Thurs evenings + Saturday mornings)
You get better results in fewer sessions — with care that respects your time and delivers real value.
To learn how this model can work for you:
❓ Who benefits most from working with Slight Edge Physical Therapy LLC?
Our out-of-network model is designed for driven, active individuals who value personalized care and faster progress.
You’ll benefit most if you are:
- A high-level or recreational athlete wanting to get back to sport or competition
- A motivated patient who will follow a custom rehab plan between sessions
- Someone with a high-deductible plan looking for better results per dollar
- A busy professional who can’t afford to spend hours per week in PT
- Tired of generic treatment and want care that’s built around you
❓ Who is a better fit for an in-network physical therapy clinic?
In-network PT may be a better fit if:
- You’re not planning to return to physical activity or sport
- You struggle to follow a home program between sessions
- You’re immediately post-surgical (e.g., total knee or hip replacement) and need 2–3x/week visits for a short time
- You don’t mind shorter sessions, a rotating staff, and a more standardized care model
- You prefer insurance to dictate your care plan
✅ Bottom Line:
Out-of-network care at Slight Edge Physical Therapy LLC gives you more time, more focus, and better outcomes — all with fewer visits and more flexibility.
If you’re serious about getting out of pain and back to the activities you love, we’re here to help.
